The St. Joseph County Comprehensive involved extensive community input to gather residents’ thoughts and desires for the county’s future development. In preparation for the community Summit, I prepared engaging boards and briefing booklets so residents could easily learn more about the issues that were most important to them.

I created the boards to inform residents about the process and encourage thoughtful consideration of the plan's goals

I created "Briefing Booklets" for focus groups that provided a brief snapshot of the county's current strengths and weakness for each of the eight principles.

The Summit was a great way to kick off the planning process. Residents with a wide variety of goals and concerns were present and engaged.

Tables were scattered around the room with the briefing booklets and sign-up sheets so residents could volunteer to serve on the focus group for the issue(s) that were most important to them.
